(For example, when searching for \u201cVOR\u201d, only entries exactly matching \u201cVOR\u201d are returned.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To also retrieve results that contain the searched expression within them, \u201c\u0130\u00e7inde Ge\u00e7en\u201d must be selected. (For example, when searching for \u201cVOR\u201d, results such as \u201cDVOR\u201d and \u201cVOR\/DME\u201d are also returned in addition to \u201cVOR\u201d.) When this option is selected, exact matches are listed first, followed by the other results. When searching for abbreviations, a value of 100% is recommended. When searching in explanations, it is recommended to gradually lower the value and perform different searches. You can narrow the sources used in the search by deselecting the categories you do not want. Information about the categories and their contents is as follows:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>ICAO:<\/strong> Includes ICAO Annex, Doc, Cir series and other ICAO-related sources. Important references such as <em>ICAO Doc 8400 \u2013PANS \u2013 ICAO Abbreviations and Codes (PANS-ABC)<\/em> and <em>ICAO Doc 9713 \u2013 International Civil Aviation Vocabulary<\/em>, which include PANS abbreviations, are also included. The PANS-ABC document is set as the primary priority. Within PANS-ABC, statements indicating the pronunciation of abbreviations are processed as comments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>T\u00fcrkiye:<\/strong> Includes some sources such as T\u00fcrkiye AIP, DHM\u0130 publications, and SHGM regulations. Some of these sources contain Turkish expressions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>EUROCONTROL:<\/strong> Includes various EUROCONTROL publications.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>EASA\/EU:<\/strong> Includes abbreviations found in various EASA publications or EU regulations.IATA: Includes various IATA publications.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>NATO\/MIPS:<\/strong> Includes NATO STANAGs or other documents related to MIPS or other NATO regulations. The document <em>NATO AAP-15 NATO Glossary of Abbreviations Used in NATO Documents and Publications<\/em> is also included.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>FAA\/US:<\/strong> Includes FAA publications related to regulations generally applicable in the United States, as well as other US-based sources.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Hava Arac\u0131 Terimleri:<\/strong> Includes abbreviations found in manuals of various civil and military aircraft.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Di\u011fer:<\/strong> Includes sources that do not fit into the classifications above. Generally, sources from publishers such as Jeppesen and Lido, as well as publications from different aviation authorities or organizations, are included in this category.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Document Filter:<\/strong> You can view the sources listed under the categories mentioned above and select only the sources you want. In the filter menu, the ordering of sources under each category heading, from top to bottom, indicates the predefined priority order of the sources.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Retrieval of Results:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When a value is entered into the search box and the \u201cARA\u201d button is pressed, results are returned according to the selected options.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Results are returned separately by category. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The result box of a category that returns no results is not displayed.When displaying results in the result boxes by category, initially the first 2 results are shown for the ICAO category, and the first result is shown for the other categories. To view the remaining results for each category, click the \u201cDAHA FAZLA\u201d button in the relevant box.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Results are displayed under each category in the following order:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>First, exact matching results are returned according to the priority order of the sources under the relevant category (the order shown in the filter menu).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Then, if the \u201c\u0130\u00e7inde Ge\u00e7en\u201d option is selected, results that do not exactly match but contain the searched expression verbatim are listed from the most similar to the least similar according to their similarity to the searched expression. Results returned via the \u201c\u0130\u00e7inde Ge\u00e7en\u201d option are considered 100% similar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Finally, if the similarity option is set below 100%, results that do not exactly match or do not contain the searched expression verbatim are sorted from the most similar to the least similar according to the similarity algorithm. Additionally, if the \u201c\u0130\u00e7inde Ge\u00e7en\u201d option is enabled, results that contain the searched expression within the selected similarity value are also displayed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Punctuation marks and spaces are ignored. If punctuation marks or spaces are used in the search, results written contiguously without punctuation, or containing a space instead of punctuation or punctuation instead of a space, are also returned. If a contiguous expression is used in the search, results that include punctuation between the terms are also shown.
