About Data

Messages are based on ACARS network ACARS ATS system D-ATIS and DCL application messages collected by the ibonav.aero ATC Data Link network. Messages are not directly live; they are response messages uplinked to an aircraft by a Data Link ATS unit within coverage when another user within that unit's coverage area requests a D-ATIS and DCL application message. If the response was made recently, it is likely to be current. Although the messages are not directly live, they may still be useful for assessing the current status of the relevant aerodrome.
